Dianna Bolton – The Indian Riverkeeper

Dianna is a sixth-generation Floridian who grew up in Sebastian and has a long history of passion and preservation for the Indian River Lagoon. Her great grandfather by marriage Paul Kroegel, along with Audubon and President Theodore Roosevelt, founded Pelican Island, which we are so proud to call our nation’s first wildlife sanctuary.

Dianna grew up fishing, clamming, growing citrus, riding horses, and camping on the islands in the Indian River Lagoon. Her dream is to have the Indian River Lagoon as pristine for her children and grandchildren as it was when she was a child.

She has a BS in Business Administration and Military science-APU, AS Business Management-Eastern Florida State University, Associate of Science Environmental Marine Science and Technology-College of the Florida Keys, USCG Merchant Marine Sea School, 100 Ton Master. She is a Member/ Supporter/and Advocate of the Clean Water Coalition of Indian River County, Indian River Lagoon Council, Audubon Society and Florida Keys Environmental Coalition.
