Kelli is passionate about representing and uplifting underrepresented voices in communities. She chaired the Everglades Coalition’s first-ever Equity and Community Engagement Committee, which aimed to broaden outreach to unrepresented and underrepresented groups in Everglades protection and restoration while enhancing overall representation in the environmental community. She also serves on the board of We Pivot, whose mission is to help the most marginalized individuals be included, fulfilled, and empowered, resulting in a more diverse tech industry.
Kelli is also committed to fostering environmental advocacy among younger generations. She co-leads the River Kidz and sits on the Friends of the Everglades Young Friends committee. Kelli is also one course away from finishing her Master of Science degree in Forest Conservation at the University of Florida which further supports her dedication to preserving our natural world.
In her free time, you can find Kelli in her garden with her husband and kids, tending to their native plants and butterflies, hiking the beautiful nature trails or out on the water.
